Oud, piano and accordion: Anouar Brahem explores new combinations. Since Astrakan Café, the album with clarinettist Barbaros Erköse and Lassad Hosni on percussion, the Tunisian oud player and composer has been relying on small ensembles. The music for "Le Pas Du Chat Noir" was composed on a piano, but François Couturier took over the piano part for the realization in the studio. Jean-Louis Matinier (accordion) and Brahem (oud) create the melodies with thrifty arrangements
