This Best Of only covers 1971 - 1973, so really early days only.Some of the songs are quite experimental and therefore not particularly to my taste.10538 Overture is a superb debut single which is not on all their Greatest Hits collections, sounds like ELO were listerning to The Beatles I Am The Walrus, in fact so does most of the ELO cataloge !Showdown is good, as is over 6 minutes of Roll Over Beethoven.So if you want the bulk of their hits, try elsewhere.
